Hi, and thanks for stopping by!
A little bit about me, and how I got here…
I’m a fully licensed and insured Massage Therapist in Massachusetts. I graduated from The Sarasota School of Massage Therapy in August 2002, after completing an intensive full-time training program. SSMT offered a unique foundation focused on anatomy, physiology, and pathology. Modalities studied included Swedish, Neuromuscular Therapy (Trigger Point), Myofascial Release, Pregnancy Massage, Thai Massage, and Reflexology.
Throughout my long career, I’ve had the opportunity to explore many aspects of Massage Therapy. I began my journey with Brannigan Chiropractic in Norwell, MA, where I co-treated (along with Dr. B.) his patients, including motor vehicle accident victims and worker’s comp cases. Other patients sought out chronic pain management, or were on the “maintenance plan" - living active lives and just needing a “tune-up” every few weeks.
In 2004 I began working in Scituate Harbor, where I began building a thriving local practice. I believe that a strong technical understanding of the human body and how it functions, coupled with the divine wisdom within each of us, set me on a path to an amazing and life-changing career.
Over the years, I’ve built many strong working relationships with people from all walks of life. Working with infants, teen athletes, pregnant and postpartum mothers, stay at home moms, busy working professionals, weekend warriors, professional athletes, cancer patients, retirees, and everyone in between. One thing has remained the same: my clients all report that they feel amazing after their massage and for days to weeks later. But, of course, those with chronic pain issues generally look to establish a maintenance program to extend the benefits of regular massage therapy. Their "issues were stuck in their tissues".
As a student of life, I have always been fascinated by how the body responds to emotions, trauma, and experiences. Ever notice when you are anxious - you feel it in your stomach? Or that when you’re stressed, your neck and shoulders burn? Through this journey of life, we begin to hold onto certain restrictions of pain due to physical or even emotional encounters. Maybe you fell off your bike as a kid and got a handlebar jammed into your abdomen. Many years later, you can still feel pain in that area of despite having forgotten about the original trauma. As a child perhaps you never felt what you were saying was heard, and you suffer from chronic sore throats. Or perhaps you have a chronic frozen shoulder that has never really been "unstuck”, even after years of PT...
I’ve made it my personal and professional mission to understand as much as I can about how this pain forms, how it behaves, and how it reacts to treatment. I believe that the holistic, careful application of targeted massage therapies can help to manage and even eliminate chronic pain over time. If all my happy repeat clients are any indication - all this learning and application have been a great success. Not only for my career, but for my clients’ wellbeing. And at the end of the day, that’s what drives me.

Massage is a tool to help heal. Whether it's stress, illness or simply to pamper yourself, the benefits of massage can be life changing. I would be honored to take that journey with you.
Communication is key. I need to know what you're feeling, experiencing and what you're looking to gain in order to best help you. In turn, I will explain the treatment and what you can expect to gain from it.
You will reap the benefits of massage if it becomes a regular part of your life. My goal is for us to work together to take better care of your health, long-term.
